So I'm just wondering... is it that people and students just don't care about the fee hikes? That you can afford it so what do you care about the thousands who can't? Is it that we've become such a minion of the system that we don't believe in our power to produce change? And if protesting is the wrong way to produce t...hat change then what is the right way to produce REAL change? Please I really wanna know!

I just seriously would like to hear people's HONEST opinions. I mean absolutely these occupations and protest are an incovenience to many who have classes, finals and papers to turn in but why can't gsi's and professors just make adjustments, adjustments like broke folk like me are now gonna have to make cause of these fee increases cause ya know ... See MoreI'll tell you what a REAL inconvenience is... it's inconvenient for me to have to pay a 32% increase, its inconvenient for me to have to chose between paying for my education or feeding my fuckin kid, it's inconvenient for me to now reconsider whether I can stay here or not, it's inconvenient for me to have to give up my dreams and ya know it's inconvenient for me to have to GIVE UP EVERTHING I've worked for. So I'm sorry that you have to go around a picket-line, or that you're classes have been moved, or you missed one day of class because of the occupations, or that you have to see our bullshit actions on every tv channel and be pissed off, or that you have to continually hear about this shit and be constantly inconvenienced by us.... but maybe that's our point, maybe we want that.... maybe we want EVERYONE to be fuckin inconvenieced by us and make it visible cause ya know what that's exactly how the fuck we feel!

But ya know hey.... if it doesn't affect you directly, why would you care anyway? Or why after being controlled by a "systemm", any system, would you believe that YOUR actions could produce REAL change? We are breed to be obedience, color inside the lines, and to take passive action... like write letters... well guess what... I've written letters and ya know to be quite honest who knows if they're listening, who knows if they care, who knows if they'll do something to stop me from drowning... all I got back was a bullshit politically artistic pat on the back that everythings gonna be ok..... So sorry if I think pissing people off, occupying buildings and producing a real visual pain in the fucking ass to everyone allows me to cover a little more ground.
